Here’s how to replace the battery in your 2025 Chevrolet Trax Smart Remote w/ Engine Start by Car & Truck Remotes:
Press the button on the side to release the emergency key.
Use the metal key to gently pry open the fob by inserting it into the bottom slot and twisting.
Separate the halves, then use a small screwdriver to remove the old CR2032 battery.
Insert the new battery with the positive (+) side facing down.
Snap the fob back together and reinsert the key.
Test all buttons, including engine start, to ensure everything works properly.
