- Release the Key: Press the button on the key fob to eject the metal key blade.
- Locate the Notch: Look on the side where the key blade was; you'll see a small slot or notch.
- Pry Open the Fob: Insert your small screwdriver into the notch and gently twist or pry to separate the two halves of the key fob.
- Remove Old Battery: Use the screwdriver to carefully pop out the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert New Battery: Place the new CR2032 battery in the slot with the positive (+) side facing up (the side with the text/numbers).
- Snap Shut: Align the two halves and press firmly until they snap securely back together.
- Reinsert Key: Slide the metal key back into the fob until it locks in place.
