- Remove the key ring from the bottom of the key fob.
- Locate the small opening at the bottom of the case.
- Insert a small flathead screwdriver into the opening and gently twist to separate the two halves of the shell.
- If your current shell has chrome side trim, you may need to carefully remove the chrome pieces first using the flathead screwdriver.
- Once the case is open, you can proceed with replacing the shell or transferring the internal components.
