If your original fob has the remote start button on it and your vehicle is equipped with the remote start receiver, you can start the truck remotely from outside to heat up or cool down the car.
To use this feature (if your vehicle is equipped) you will press lock twice and then hold down the remote start button (circular button with the arrow) until the ignition engages.
You will still need to start the vehicle normally once inside the truck to engage the ignition to drive.
