This product is an empty replacement case/shell only. No reprogramming is required if simply replacing the outer shell.
If purchasing the full unit, including the electron remote board inside and emergency key, you will need to have it programmed by a locksmith in your area.
This remote must be professionally programmed when received by a local automotive locksmith (click here for Locksmith Search ). We do not recommend going to a dealer, as they may decline programming an aftermarket remote for you. Emergency insert key also needs to be cut.
