To replace it:
- Remove the emergency key by sliding the release and pulling the key out.
- Insert the tip of the emergency key or a small flat-head screwdriver into the opening where the key was removed.
- Gently twist/pry the two halves of the fob apart. Be careful not to damage the housing.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery and install the new one with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Snap the two halves of the fob back together and reinstall the emergency key.
