No thanks. I would rather not participate in rating.
I see there's a 1 star review below due to the customer going to the dealership to have the RR fob programmed. I'm on here buying my second RR fob bc what the 1 star customer doesn't realize is that a locksmith can come out and program the fob for about $125. I just went through all of this myself. I lost my only set of keys, called RR who told me that I'd have to have my car towed to them during their biz hours ( tow $250) and it would take them an hour to reprogram it for $250-$300.I called my own tow who told me about the locksmith once I told him I have my own fob. Even with the $50 tip that I gave him, I still came out way ahead had I listened to the dealership. The fob I ordered from here works perfectly. I just have to stop by the locksmith once more to have the key cut at no add'l charge bc the locksmith doesn't carry a key cutter on his truck. .
What Car and Truck fails to mention to the customer is that, with Range Rover, you will have to go to the local dealership anyway to have the remote programmed -- and that is a major hassle. It costs a minimum of $150 at the dealership and they will refuse to cut the spare key -- that will require a locksmith, and another yet another bill (we are now on our third bill). In all, one will spend approx. 2-4 weeks trying to get a replacement key using the 'Cars and Trucks" method and it will cost as much or more than if you just ordered through the dealership. AND you have to go all over town to find a locksmith who can do this work. While I hate it, the dealership has a monopoly on this with Ranger Rover and there is no way around it. Buyer beware
