NO CUTTING OR LOCKSMITH NEEDED! No remote or transponder chip included. You can simply replace your old case of your old remote. Just take the blade and insides out (remote and transponder chip) and put them in this shell. If you take the transponder chip and remote from your old working remote and put it in to this new case - there is no programming needed.
