The difference between single and twin lift picks - explained:

Twin Lifters usually work better in picking and reading. Twin lifter toos read in the same direction as picking direction, however they can not work on over-picked wafers. This makes them hard to use in those cases. If you over-pick a particular wafer, you will need to reduce the tension and start over again.

Single Lifters pick in opposite direction to correct over-picked wafers. Once can also use signle lifter Lishi tools in jammed locks. However, you must keep in mind that signle lifter Lishi tools read the opposite direction of picking direction. The vehicle application for both HU66 Lishi tools (Twin Lifters and Single Lifters) is basically the same, so it just comes down to a personal choice.
